I’d love to have my bedroom like this.
Personally, this is a bit too much black for me and think I would spice it up with some blood reds and other tones - maybe some lighter color walls - but really do like the style of the room and the furniture and all. Imagine it though with red instead of the pink and maybe red velvet upholstery and drapes.
OMG I love this parasol! Just got in my first batch of them for the store and now I have to figure out a place to take a stroll with it! It’s so pretty!
I’m thinking an art festival this spring!
One of my other inspirations for my romantigoth look is the movie Underworld. No, not the skin tight leather & latex, but the incredible gowns and corsets the coven wears! I’ve been trying to find stills on them online, but naturally the leather & latex cat suits seem to be the thing to post. Anyone know of a good site with the gowns? I might have to figure out how to take some screen captures from the dvd.
By the way, I’ve lost 15 pounds so far this year! Yeah! Bunch more to go but I’m soooo happy I’m making progress!

I LOVE these shoes! Don’t care if they will make me 6’3”!! They are sooo going to be mine!
Found them here.

This is one of my favorite coats - I have it in red with the black lace, but this is a better photo :)
I’m still looking for the perfect skirt to go with it, but have worn it with jeans too and get lots of compliments on it.
I adore these boots - they have a great 2 1/2 inch heel height (I’m 5’11” so real high heels just don’t work for me) and just are soooooo cute!!! I cannot decide which color I want to get though! I’m leaning towards the purple, but the black and red are cool too!
One thing I wonder…do your feet change size when you lose weight? Right now I have giant size 12 feet (size 11 for some shoe styles) and wonder if that will change? I really want to get these NOW! But don’t want to be unable to wear them after my slim down :)
I love this top! I have a couple of fishnet tops and a spiderweb lace top set aside for myself I’m looking forward to wearing, but I love this one!
This is one of my all time favorite outfits from NCIS. Naturally, I LOVE Abby! Not that fond of her Lip Service mini skirts (mini skirts are just NOT me), but outfits like this are just amazing! Wish I could find a better picture, but at least I found one!
Okay, so I’m not the typical goth. I’m 46 (ok, 47 in a week), and plus size. I’m a sci-fi geek, entrepreneur, and crazy cat lady. I don’t have black fingernails, wear a lot of makeup or always dress in black and red. I’m not a night person - usually asleep by 10:30. I’m not big into poetry or music. At first glance, no one would call me a goth.
But I own Gothicplus.com - and the reason I started that store is because I do LOVE gothic style and fashion. I am interested in Vampires and have been known to write a story or two.
One day I tripped over a term - Romantigoth - and realized *that’s me!* I love lace, and Victorian clothing (though I admit I don’t own a lot of it …yet! I’m in the process of becoming a non-plus size and plan to totally redo my wardrobe in the romantigoth style once I do). I also admit to being a little shy about being outside the “norm” - a 47 year old woman is supposed to wear the “Mom” jeans and casual stuff right? Not ruffles and lace. But that is what I love and really WANT to wear!
So I decided to start this tumblr as a way to figure out my style and sort of build my wish list. And once I start getting to my goal weight, I’ll add a few photos of myself here too. My goal is to be size 14 by the end of the year.
